Learn how to crochet a beautiful, sturdy basket out of t-shirt yarn! Using trendy t-shirt yarn, these baskets are quick to make and perfect for organizing any room in your house. All supplies and yarn provided for additional fee due to instructor at the beginning of class. A printed copy of the pattern will also be provided so you can continue to make more amazing baskets after completing this workshop.
It is best if you already have a basic knowledge of crochet including working in the round, single crochet stitch and how to count stitches. If you need to learn how to crochet from scratch or just need to brush up before the workshop, my Crochet 101 would be perfect for you! And you can take it concurrently with this workshop!

Jamie's Classes
Jamie is a multifaceted artist and crafter who loves helping others. She has always enjoyed learning something new and wants to help others discover their creativity through arts and crafts.
Although she has dabbled in nearly every craft you can think of, one has always remained constant: crochet. She has spent the last 30 years learning everything she can about crochet (and yarn!) while perfecting her skills. Now she is excited to take the next step of helping others learn to crochet while building their self confidence and discovering their creative side. Jamie received her B.F.A. in graphic design from the University of Akron in Akron, Ohio. She went on to work for American Greetings, Hallmark Cards and boutique stationery brands. During this time she earned her M.B.A. at the University of Missouri - Kansas City, focusing on marketing which she has applied to her freelance design business. She established Jamie Kulig, LLC in 2016. She enjoys the wide range of projects and clients she gets to interact with on a daily basis. But better yet, it gives her the flexibility to fulfill her dream of helping others learn about crochet, crafting, art and graphic design!
