This 2 day workshop will introduce beginning and intermediate students to the basic techniques of blacksmithing using the forge, anvil and hammers. A range for forging techniques will be demonstrated for students to practice and use to work toward their own custom designs. Students will take home several finished projects. Projects include decorative and functional hooks, fire pokers candle holders and more. Bring a lunch and bottled water. There will be a 30 min break for lunch. Students should wear comfortable, natural fiber (cotton) clothes they don't mind getting dirty, closed toed shoes, and safety glasses. The class occurs outdoors in a covered area. This class is for students of ALL LEVELS. ALL MATERIALS ARE INCLUDED with a $35 materials PAYABLE TO THE INSTRUCTOR at the time of the workshop . CLASS LIMITED TO 6 STUDENTS.
