Add a unique, creative element to your next event or with guided art parties at Spruill Center for the Arts.
Spruill provides a teaching artist, project materials, and the environment to create and have fun. Each party guest will leave with a completed project***!
Create your party:
Step 1: Choose your artistic medium; Choose from four different artistic experiences: watercolor painting, acrylic painting, ceramics, or glass art*.
Step 2: Create your guest list; All mediums require a minimum of 10 guests, no more than 12 guests for Glass Art, no more than 15 for Ceramics, no more than 20 for Acrylic or Watercolor Painting. Please communicate your total guest count to our events team at least 2 weeks prior to your event. If you have more than 20 guests, reach out to us at events@spruillarts.org, so we can work on planning a party that will work for your guest count!
Step 3: Add food, drinks, and fun; Use our official group party caterer, Graze Craze, pick from our list of preferred vendors, or bring in your own food/caterer for an additional $75 charge**.
Step 4: Party & Create! Create, connect, and celebrate -- every guest leaves with a handmade piece of art*** and great memories.
*Seasonal projects and medium are subject to availability and may vary by art style and date. Mediums available will be listed on the payment screen (Next page).

***Glass art projects will be available for pick 1-2 weeks after event. Ceramics pieces will be available with in 2-2.5 weeks after the event.

Changes/cancellations initiated by a host/client of a Group Art Party (a.k.a. Group pARTies) will incur a fee and MUST be confirmed by a Spruill Center for the Arts employee at least two (2) weeks prior to the reserved party date (M-F 9 to 5).
Cancellation Fee: A 15% cancellation fee (based on the total party cost) will be charged if notice is given at least two weeks before the reservation date.
No Credits: No credits will be issued for customer cancellations or emergencies.
Less Than Two Weeks' Notice: No refunds will be given if notice is received less than two weeks prior to the event date.
Third Party Vendors: Spruill is not responsible for refunds when hosts use third-party vendors (e.g., caterers, decoration, sound) recommended or not recommended by Spruill.
Outside Vendor Fee: A $75 outside vendor fee applies to any food or beverage service provided by a non-preferred vendor.
Subject to approval by Spruill and compliance with vendor requirement, including Certificate of Insurance (COI) and any additional license(s) or paperwork based on the service provided.
The $75 outside vendor fee must be paid at least two weeks prior to the event.
A vendor requirement list will be provided upon request if you choose not to use a Spruill preferred vendor.
Preferred Vendors: A list of preferred vendors for food and beverage services is available. Any outside caterer or other vendor service(s) must be approved by Spruill upon receipt and review of all required documentation.
Age Requirements:
Group Art Parties are for ages 13 and up. No one under 13 may participate in the art projects, mediums, or studio activities.
Children’s Birthday Parties are for ages 7 - 12.
Spruill is not responsible for any minors left unattended by an adult.
The host/client assumes full responsibility for all minors attending the party.
Projects & Availability: All parties are subject to seasonal projects, instructor preference, mediums, and all available dates are listed online.
Customized Parties: For custom projects or mediums, please email events@spruillarts.org.
Decorations: Decorations are allowed in the party space; please refer to the Party FAQ for list of approved items.
Minimum Pricing: Party packages are priced to include 10 guests. Depending on the project and medium, some parties, may allow additional guest(s), email events@spruillarts.org for details.
Party Waiver: All guests/participants in the party must complete and sign a liability waiver before taking part in any art activities. For guests under the age of 18, a parent or legal guardian must sign on their behalf.
