Come learn about the exciting process of relief printmaking! One of the older forms of printmaking, relief carving is the process of carving an image into a solid 3-D surface, such as wood or linoleum. Over the course of the next 5 weeks, you will develop the fundamentals of relief printmaking by learning how to transfer an image onto a block, carve your image into the linoleum, ink your block, tear paper for editions, and hand print your relief carving.
