Are you interested in 3-d printing but don’t know where to start? This class starts with an introduction to computer design software and ends with a finished 3-d print of your design. During the course, students will learn the principles of designing a solid part with an emphasis on understanding the advantages and limitations of the ‘additive manufacturing’ process. Everyone will work through a guided project and then have a chance to bring their own ideas to fruition.
