Students in this class will complete 4-6 projects such as bowls, plates or wall art while exploring techniques for use with warm glass art. We will create then use pattern bars, learn how to stencil on glass with powders and use crackle techniques as well as kiln-carving. There will be discussions about glass flow, scheduling and reactions.

Previous experience with basic glass cutting would be preferred though additional tips will be offered.

IMPORTANT: Do NOT wear sandals or open-toed shoes to this class. Shoes that cover and protect your feet are a must. Shoes that lace and tie, such as tennis or jogging shoes, are best.
