During this 4-week course instructor David Liss demonstrate how to make a wooden bowl approximately 12" or less in diameter. You will learn how to mount the wooden blank to lathe, shaping and hollwing the wood for a bowl, as well as sanding and finishing. By the end of the course you will have a beautiful finished bowl. SAFETY REQUIREMENTS No open shirts, long sleeve shirts, gloves or shorts Closed toed shoes are required Long hair must be pulled back N95 masks to be worn during turning and sanding Full face shields to be worn when operating machinery

David Liss has been a woodturner for over 10 years. David makes pens, plates cups, bowls, wood chalices and has found a love in woodturning for many years. David has taught wood working at Camp Judea in Hendersonville North Carolina multiple times to children in the woodworking shop and is excited to share his passion for the woodshop. David is a member of the Georgia Association of Woodturners, Barnesville Woodturners and a member of American Association of Woodturners.
