Pam says "My philosophy can probably best be summed up by Share the Joy. I love working with metal clay and enamels, and there's nothing I enjoy more than sharing my enthusiasm with my students. Fun, I have found, is contagious. In my teaching, articles, and appearances, I have always worked towards making these art forms as accessible as possible to a wide audience. Even while maintaining a high standard of excellence, making beautiful jewelry need not be difficult or expensive."
Born and raised in Southern California, Pam now resides in Atlanta, Georgia with her husband and Porsche, the wonder dog.

Donna's Classes
Known affectionately in the metal clay world as "The Whistle Lady," Donna Penoyer is an award-winning jewelry artist and master instructor with a fondness for play and humor, and also for thoughtful metaphor. Her whistle amulets and other jewelry pieces have appeared in multiple publications, including Robert Dancik's Amulets and Talismans, Sherri Haab's The Art of Metal Clay, and Hattie Sanderson's Contemporary Metal Clay Rings. She began working in metal clay in 2005; has taught hundreds of jewelry classes around the U.S., England, and Belgium; and has been featured several times as an artist/instructor on the online series CRAFTCAST with Alison Lee.
Donna says, "Art is important for keeping us sane and imaginative and uplifted, and for showing us our best selves. When I can help other people feel proud, maybe surprised, by what they can achieve, that is a worthwhile life. I feel my own sense of purpose in this world more richly since metal clay found its way into my hands."
Besides being an outgoing and enthusiastic educator and craftsperson, Donna has also been a professional stiltwalker since 1998, performing for corporate events, universities, and festivals. She's in her 21st year! Donna's websites can be found at www.donnapenoyer.com and www.donnastilts.com.
