Susan's Classes

Armed with a BFA from UC Santa Barbara, a vintage truck and camper, and big dreams, Susan Saul set out across the country in the winter of 1980 to make a life for herself in Georgia. What began as an adventure that December has grown into a lifelong creative journey.

Susan first built her career as a printmaker and mixed-media artist, creating original artwork for residential and commercial spaces nationwide. But when jewelry making captured her heart, everything changed. She dove into her new craft through community arts programs, workshops, and immersive retreats. Her curiosity and love of learning-combined with a deep appreciation for the processes and materials of metalsmithing-have fueled her artistic growth for more than three decades.

For many years, Susan has shared her expertise by teaching metalsmithing and jewelry at Spruill and with other schools and guilds. While studio work is often solitary, she finds joy and connection in the classroom, watching her students discover their own creative spark.

As conversations about creativity and well-being gain momentum in today's world, Susan has also embraced her role as a Certi?ed Creativity Coach. She believes that creativity is innate to all humans, yet too often limited by self-doubt or circumstance. Through her coaching, she is committed to helping others overcome these barriers and step fully into their own creative expression.

You can ?nd Susan's jewelry at Topaz Gallery in Buckhead, GA, and Nobles Metales in Marietta, GA, as well as on her website www.susansauldesign.com, Facebook @susansauldesign , and Instagram @susansauldesign
