Fee: $245.00
Students may work in Oil Pastel, Soft Pastel or Oil paints. Advanced students may want to incorporate an under wash in watercolor, oil, or gouache. Please bring 2 canvases at least 11x14". Please see spruillarts.org for a list of workshop supplies needed prior to class.
The instructor will do a morning demo and afternoon demo in both soft pastel and oil pastel.
Each student will get one on one attention at the easel; instructor encourages viewing other participants works during the workshop, which will lead to a discussion and critique at the end of the day long workshop.
Please bring a lunch, snack, or plan to go out nearby; a 45-minute lunch intermission will be included.

Randie's Classes
Randie attended Monmouth University, Scottsdale Artist School and The Palette & Chisel Fine Arts Academy in Chicago for classical art training. Additionally, she studied under the tutelage of numerous master painters throughout the country in oil painting, soft pastel, oil pastel and graphite (see her list of mentors on her website under "artist statement").
An award-winning artist, her work has been published, hung in museum shows, as well as purchased in corporate and private collections nationwide.
She is a juried member of the Palette & Chisel, as well as a member of numerous other professional art organizations worldwide.
Randie has taught and held workshops nationwide for the past 2 decades, encouraging aspiring artists to have confidence in their own abilities and styles; learning the fundamentals & developing their uniqueness in any application or medium of their work. Building the necessary foundations to be successful requires thorough mentors and teaching.
In addition, Randie is educated as a corporate attorney and criminologist, previously working with numerous large law firms and corporations nationwide.
