Tai Chi, a moving meditation, is a graceful and enjoyable martial art with many health benefits. It improves balance, flexibility, and strength without stressing joints. The elegant but powerful movements also foster calmness and inner focus, reducing stress.
This introductory course welcomes all levels and includes four main areas:
Qi Gong: Mindful breathing and stretching exercises to activate the body and spirit.
Basic Techniques: Flowing, precise postures that make up the Tai Chi form.
Push Hands: A two-person drill that teaches balance, yielding and the application of force.
Martial Applications: The self-defense purposes behind the movements.
