This lively and engaging 6-week course is perfect for anyone interested in picking up a new hobby, making new friends, or just seeing what all the fun is about! If you have ever wondered whether Mah Jongg is for you, this is your chance to emerse yourself in the game and gain a full understanding of the rules. Beverley Segel
Beverley Segel is a Mahj Life Certified Instructor and passionate teacher who helps new players build confidence quickly. With a friendly teaching technique and strong local ties, Beverley brings both warmth and expertise to the table. It’s important to remove the barriers to enter the wonderful world of Mahjongg and teach strictly within NMJL rules. I believe tiles, mats & pushers are tools of the trade and should be affordable and easily available. I offer my students a starter kit with everything they need to kick start their Mahj Journey. I match them with other similar players & groups, lessons include open play in my Mahj Parlor and follow up support. Starter kit $80 includes Tiles.
