Discover the excitement of painting portraits loosely, focusing on capturing the facial expression, and learning technique tips along the way. This course is an excellent opportunity to release any creative blockage, and liberate yourself from the fear of wrongdoing. A demo will be performed at the session, and individual guidance will be offered as you progress with your artwork. We will take a 30 min break in the middle. The course is appropriate for advanced beginners, intermediates, and advanced painters. Diana's Classes

Diana Toma is an award-winning professional artist whose style blends traditional techniques applied in a contemporary manner. Holding a master's degree in fine arts, she has been exhibiting her work since 1996, racking up over a hundred international group exhibitions and solo art showings. Her artworks have been featured in art magazines such Artists Magazine, American Artist and as the cover feature for The Best of Acrylic Fall 2024, commissioned by companies such as HBO, HGTV, USTA, and acquired to be displayed in public spaces, such as at the Fulton County's libraries. Diana Toma also teaches painting classes for adults at art museums and art centers. Her teaching approach focuses on fast, loose painting. An esteemed artist, Ms. Toma is often invited to represent the working artist on panel discussions, such as at the Museum of Contemporary Art and the Mayor's Office of Cultural Affairs in Atlanta and hired to judge art shows such as the Georgia Watercolor Society Juried Show.
