Students who register for Jewelry Open Studio will have access to tools, supplies, torches and the rolling mill during each open studio session, with the exception of the hydraulic press. The hydraulic press is never available during open studio sessions. A Studio Assistant will be in attendance to monitor and assist as needed, but instruction is not offered during the Open Studio Session. Students must have completed at least 1 jewelry department class (Beginning, Beyond the Basics, Intermediate or Advanced Jewelry classes) to be eligible for Open Studio. Students must be able to work independently. Students signing up for the open jewelry studio session understand that this is a time to work within their current skill set, and not a time to work or experiment with any tools and equipment for the "first-time".
