Elements of Theatre (ages 11-18) This camp is for the students who love to know what goes on behind the scenes! In Elements of Theatre, students will learn all about what goes into the making of a theatrical production as we put up our summer play: Puffs or Seven Increasingly Eventful Years at a Certain School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Classes include scenic design, costuming, makeup, lighting, sound, and props. With guidance from our professional faculty, students will work on their own project throughout the week putting together all the technical aspects of their very own show. Students interested in future leadership positions in technical theatre for Stage Door’s Performing Arts Academy and Sr Company are highly encouraged to participate in this camp. NOTE: Spruill gift certificates, membership, and scholarships cannot be applied or used as a credit to Stage Door Theatre's camps or programs.
