Drawing the figure from a live model has classically been the preferred method, but working from photo reference can be equally helpful-and a bit simpler for the average aspiring artist! This class will give students a great opportunity to develop and improve their figure drawing skills without having to pay any model fees to do so! Students will be able to draw the figure nude or clothed, from photographic reference they provide. Reference can be from life, or from works of art including paintings, drawings, or sculpture. Media can also be of the student's choosing including Graphite, Charcoal, or Pastel. See spruillarts.org for additional details regarding supplies.
