FIGURE DRAWING - TEENS & ADULTS 16yrs & UP
Your chance for a sight-based, life-drawing class is available for both TEENAGE & ADULT Art Students whose schedules prevent them from joining our day-time, weekday classes.
A class for all levels (ages & experience). Learn to see, understand, & render the human portrait on paper. This course provides an excellent way to focus on the relationships of the head's facial structures and the emotion they convey while advancing your observational skills. Emphasis on describing your 'structural model' based on the attitude/ tension/ ambience & decoration with attention paid to proportion and composition to achieve a likeness. Prior basic drawing experience is both an asset & advantageous to your observational journey.
Live models in all classes. MODEL FEES ARE COLLECTED BY THE INSTRUCTOR AT THE FIRST CLASS. Past student work can be seen at my website in the Student Gallery. See www.spruillarts.org for the supplies you will need to bring to class.
