This workshop develops students' abilities in capturing the feeling and movement of figures using gestures, deconstructing complex anatomy into simple shapes, and understanding the three-dimensionality and twists of figures. Gesture drawing helps artists to portray the essence of pose, prioritize flow and movement to quickly capture subject as a whole and achieve natural and well-proportioned figures. Join us to learn and improve your "feel" for motion in images and comfort with recognizing the proper proportions necessary to make drawings that look "right."
