For beginner or intermediate students looking for a new medium for studio or on-site sketching. Pastels are like drawing with a palette of readymade colored sticks. Turn your landscape photos into works of art while you learn to use pastels. Learn how to create an underpainting and layer pastels using a variety of techniques and different paper colors. You will complete a simple landscape painting during the first class. Bring 8 - 10 favorite landscape photos of landscapes or seascapes with good lighting.
