According to Noah Webster: Drawing is a technique where an instrument is used to mark paper or another two-dimensional surface in which images are depicted on a surface by making lines, tonal areas, washes and other non-linear marks. Instruments used might be pencils, NeoColor Crayons, pens with inks, brushes with paints, or any combination, I want us to explore the huge number of possibilities discovered when combining our tools to create mixed-media pieces of Art. Students develop their creative processes, their imagination and they'll discover answers to questions that have not even been asked yet. Using Instructor/or student supplied objects & photos to design, build & render the "portrait(s)" of our special moments in time using the skills needed & used throughout an artistic career. $25 MATERIALS FEE PAYABLE TO INSTRUCTOR AT FIRST CLASS. Materials and supplies are included.
