A natural progression/addition to our winter 4 week class. The class for portrait drawing students of all levels. Learn to see, understand, & render the human portrait on paper. This course provides an excellent way to focus on the relationships of the head's facial structures and the emotion they convey while advancing your observational skills. Emphasis on describing a 'structural resemblance' based on the subject's attitude//ambience/decoration with special attention paid to proportion and composition to achieve a likeness. Previous basic drawing experience is both an asset & encouraged before beginning this observational journey. LIVE MODELS IN ALL CLASSES. MODEL FEES ARE COLLECTED BY THE INSTRUCTOR AT THE FIRST CLASS.
