PORTRAIT DRAWING STUDIO FOR TEENS & ADULTS: 16YRS - ADULT

A 3 hour class available for both teenagers & adults & developed for all levels where you'll have 2.5 hours to thoroughly investigate & render the human head, drawing from professional models in a live studio session followed by a 30 minute group critique. We will focus on representational drawing, draftsmanship & composition for beginning to advanced drawing students. Explore SPATIAL RELATIONSHIPS while learning about the bonds between edges & mass, observation & experimentation. Lastly, develop a clear ability to understand, see, compose, and dynamically render the human head. Open to all drawing media (i.e., charcoal, color pencils, pastels, conte, ink & watercolor). Live models in all classes. PRIOR DRAWING EXPERIENCE IS MOST BENEFICIAL. LIVE MODELS IN ALL CLASSES. MODEL FEES ARE COLLECTED BY THE INSTRUCTOR AT THE FIRST CLASS.
