Discover why so many artists love working with a medium that combines the best of painting and drawing in convenient sticks without mixing paints and solvents. This class is for beginners and intermediates who want to learn to use pastels or sharpen their skills. We'll focus on composition, value, color, mark making and the different methods of applying pastels. Bring 8 - 10 landscape photos with good lighting and a variety of color. Bring a sack lunch. Note: If you took this class last year, the exercises will not be the same. A $10.00 Materials Fee is PAYABLE TO THE INSTRUCTOR for all course supplies, or bring your own supplies.
