This fun and exciting class is especially designed for those who want to draw a portrait of their furry family member! Pets are such an integral part of our lives, so why not learn how to capture that special relationship with a drawing in black and white or color? Students will provide the photo reference to work from of their favorite dog, cat or otherwise, while the instructor will demonstrate techniques ranging from animal fur, proportions, eyes, teeth, etc. Students will also be free to draw more exotic animals if they wish. Media will include graphite, charcoal, conte', and pastel. See www.spruillarts.org for a list of supplies you will need to bring to class.
