Glass is gorgeous in its own right, but learn how to make it appear to bend and stretch in a beautiful and awe-inspiring way. This technique will use sheet glass and many special stringers to create this optical technique. You will also select the final shape of your design so that you can enjoy it all year if you prefer. It really will be a special piece of art. This class does require a lot of cutting and is great for anyone who has worked with glass before. Beginners are also welcome and will be given instructions on how to cut glass and use the tools necessary to create this piece. These pieces are around 10inx10in diameter and will be kiln fused and slumped to finish your beautiful piece. Due to the fusing time for each piece please note that the finished pieces will be available for pick-up at Spruill one week after class.
