Are you wondering what a jewelry class would be like, but not quite sure if you want to commit for 8-10 weeks? Here's a chance to try your hand at metalsmithing and see what it's really like to use the tools of the trade. In this 4-hour class, students can complete up to three custom sterling silver bangles. Gain understanding and appreciation for the work that goes into crafting art jewelry, plus learn how to use an acetylene torch in our fully equipped jewelry studio. Beginners with moderate hand strength welcome. Materials may be purchased directly from instructor for $30-50 (market prices vary). Cash, check, or Zelle accepted. Bring lunch, a notepad and magnifying eyeglasses (readers) if you need them for close-up work.
