Learn to create your own unique 3 dimensional hollow vessels and then design a screw top lid for it. Perfect as a pendant with a small compart to carry a lotion or fragrance. You will start by learning to create an armature to form your vessel that you can use over and over. Create the cover /lid equipped with a screw mount and then add personalized embellishments. Topics will cover designing 3D hollowforms, metal clay construction of screw mechanisms, one of a kind personalized embellishments, firing methods, finishing. PREREQUISITE: Two quarters of ALL Metal Clay classes. A Materials fee of $10.00 is PAYABLE TO THE INSTRUCTOR at the first session. This fee DOES NOT include metal clay.
