This is a fun and exciting class for a beginner to develop good metal clay skills as well as the advanced student in the challenge of their design. This interlocking pendant class will have students designing and creating two part pendants. The pendant will be the focal point as well as the functional front closure of the jewelry piece. This class will have an emphasis on helping the student develop good solid construction techniques, designing a proper and functional frontal closure while having a strong emphasis on creative design. The class will also cover some fun ways in clay handling, fireable gemstone settings and finishing techniques appropriate for the individual pieces being made. This is a great class for all levels. It does not include any metal clay products, or embellishing fireable gems. We will be working in Art Clay 950 sterling or AC fine silver (student choice).
