In this information-rich workshop, learn all the aspects of fabricating bezel settings for simple to unusual shaped cabochons, finished enamels, alternative materials, and found objects. Students will learn to fuse fine silver bezel strips which provide cleaner settings and the complete removal of frustrating bezel wall solder seams. Adjusting the bezel wall to match the stone's profile, setting stones with corners), and finishing will be covered as well. Topics include object parameters, structural and soldering considerations, design and setting possibilities for creating more personalized jewelry. Students will be able to complete at least one finished bezel jewelry piece. FYI- Joanne is still excitingly making, working, teaching and always learning about art jewelry for 25+ years.
