FLUSH SETTING
Add a beautiful setting technique and more sparkle to your jewelry designs! Flush setting is a clean and modern stone setting technique where a faceted stone is set into the metal's surface without the need for bezels, tubes or prongs. And, it is arguably easier than tube-setting! Students will learn setting parameters, fabrication requirements, how to make setting tools, setting round faceted stones, and clean-up. This class is limited to 8 students. A tool/materials kit will be provided for $35 PAYABLE TO THE INSTRUCTOR at the workshop. See www.spruillarts.org for a list of supplies you will need to bring to class and in the tool/materials kit. We will take a 30 minute lunch break. FYI- Joanne is still excitingly making, working in, teaching and always learning about art jewelry for 25+ years. For more info and images, please visit www.joannehernandezmetals.com.
