Ever wonder why your photos don't quite look the same as "everyone else's"? Attention all small business owners, mom-preneurs, artists, creators or anyone who is looking to sell their work online. Let Starr help you take some of the guesswork out of the "how did they do that" or "why do their images look so good and not mine" by helping you understand how to use simple, inexpensive household lighting, natural light, "studio set ups", lay flats and more to begin creating your own eye-catching photos. This class will start with a discussion over various lighting and set-up techniques, then move to hands-on practice with your own pieces and set-ups. Basics of composition will also be introduced. Some props, backgrounds and additional lighting will be provided. A 30 minute lunch break will be taken during class. Supply List- What to bring: " Items you plan to photograph with i.e. smartphone and/or dslr/mirrorless camera " Your own products or art you'd like to photograph, any fun props or lights you may have at home, anything that is fun, weird or inspiring you have around the house that you think would be fun to bring.
