Make cards while learning the basics of linoleum block printmaking. Block printing is an old and fascinating art method that translates well into greeting cards. A $10 MATERIALS FEE MADE PAYABLE TO THE INSTRUCTOR covers paper supplies, block and inks needed to carve one block and print multiples of the image on cards and assorted papers. Ideally, bring a simple 4" x 6" design. Reference materials will be provided as well. You're welcome to bring any specialty or handmade paper to print on too.
