This course focuses on basic concepts and techniques of realistic painting. It covers values, colors, likeness, and composition. Students will paint from photographs and/or still life and use the painting medium of their choice (oil, acrylic, watercolor, gouache, or pastel). The course is a beginner to intermediate painting class. Some drawing and painting background helpful but not needed.
