This class is to understand how to use color theory with acrylic paint. You will learn how to work with primary, secondary, and tertiary colors; we will also learn how to use complementary colors, analog colors, and value that refers to the lightness and darkness of the colors. Students will see the difference between warm and cold colors. We will put all this theory into practice with a simple series of five still-lifes. This course is excellent for beginners as well as good practice for those who have a basic understanding of acrylic painting.
