Come have fun as you venture into the wonderful world of landscape painting for beginners. Art supplies are included! We'll begin with the basics in understanding composition, color and value when it comes to landscape painting. You'll learn the fundamentals and some tips to get you started when approaching landscape painting. Students will first complete some drawing exercises and a value study before copying a small landscape to gain practice painting while receiving one-on-one guidance from the instructor. Canvas, acrylic paint and brushes will be supplied for you! You can also bring along your own supplies of oils or acrylics if you wish…flat and filbert brushes in different sizes, and some small 12 x 12 and 11 x 14 canvases. Paint colors would be ultramarine blue, cerulean blue, sap green, permanent green, raw umber, yellow ochre, cadmium red and yellow, burnt sienna, Payne's grey and large tube of titanium white.
