Even if you have painted with oil paints before, this class will help you understand all the steps needed to become a successful oil painter. This class follows a simple step by step approach to learn or improve the fundamental techniques needed to create striking oil paintings with confidence. The instruction will reference examples of the masters’ works of art, provide class demonstrations, and encourage students to explore different approaches to painting and expressing themselves. Students will complete a medium-sized painting and several small practice pieces in a relaxed environment with plenty of one-on-one instruction.
