FALL IN LOVE WITH PASTELS
Soft pastels are an amazing medium for painters, especially for those that love bright vibrant colors. This versatile medium is ideal for beginners because it allows for total tactile control with the ability
to easily make corrections. In this course, participants will learn and experiment with traditional and
experimental uses of pastels through repeated short exercises and produce at least one notable
finished piece. The class will include group demonstrations and encourage students to explore their
unique areas of interest. Also, it will strengthen their command of color theory and composition.
