If you feel your artwork is too "tight" and you long for a more painterly style, this workshop can help you loosen up your approach. Go beyond literal thinking and merely copying a photograph to paint with greater freedom and expressiveness. Learn and apply practical approaches through presentation, exercises, painting in class and critique. Bring a couple of your own past paintings that you'd like to interpret more loosely and the original photo references. Course content applies to any subject matter. Applicable to oils, acrylics or watercolors.
