A supermarket bouquet can be the basis for a beautiful floral painting in oil, acrylic, pastel or watercolors. Whether your style is traditional, abstract or impressionistic, you will learn how to arrange the flowers to create a composition that balances color, shape, texture and value. Bring a medium size canvas, pastel or watercolor paper and your usual set of supplies and a sack lunch. If you don't have paint colors that would work for pink flowers, buy a tube of crimson or rose paint, because sometimes it is difficult to mix your own pink.
