In this class, the goal is for you develop into the best watercolor painter you can be. Here you will have the freedom to paint in your unique and individual style while learning various watercolor techniques along the way. Gentle constructive criticism will help you grow as an artist and art viewer. Every session the instructor will provide a subject/still life/photo, or you can supply your own. Some of the techniques you may be introduced to are: clean edges, dabbing, dripping, feathering, glazing, gradients, lifting, layering, masking, mixing, medium additives, negative painting, impasto, scumbling, sgraffito, splattering, sponging, stamping, stenciling, stippling, texturizing, underpainting, washes, wax-resist, wet-on-wet, and more.
