Don’t let working with glass intimidate you. It is easier than you might think. And in the medium of Kiln Fused glass, you can make many beautiful pieces in a short amount of time. Learn the art of kiln fused glass through this week-long intensive course. We will cover the basics of how to work with glass through cutting, crafting and designing glass pieces that will then be fired in a kiln to fuse them together. We will be designing a Small plate and dip bowl, then mixing it up with some various pieces that can range from catch-all dishes, magnets, suncatchers, tabletop animals, picture frames, jewelry and other artful masterpieces. (Each week will vary on projects assigned) This class is perfect for beginners and all types of teens who love to create art. The week is designed for each student to have pieces completed by the end to take home and enjoy.
