Add a dash of photography, a handful of self-expression and a little smidge of artistic flair for your child to create a mini-portfolio of self-portraits through this session. This class will encourage your child to tap more into capturing their personality through the basic skills of photography with a focus on lighting and posing. We will start with the basics of light and camera functions then tap into their imagination by adding some “outside the box” thinking and creative mixed media to help explore how they see themselves. Please bring a smartphone, tablet or DSLR camera to class. Knowledge of how their photo tool works is highly suggested. Students will be working together to inspire and help each other create visuals. Basic knowledge of photography is a bonus, but not required.
