Are you struggling with soldering and feeling frustrated? This workshop will take a deep dive into the principles of soldering and explore the science behind it. You will start by practicing simple solder joints then move on to more complex soldering techniques. You will not be making any finished pieces as the purpose of this workshop is to simply practice soldering. All you need to bring to class is your sterling silver scrap (both sheet and wire). We will use this along with copper (that will be supplied) to hone our soldering skills. A pre-requisite of one jewelry and metalsmithing course is required to take this course.
