BEADED MANDALA AND EARRINGS

Come learn Brick Stich beading. Perfected by the Comanche and Kiowa tribes in North America, it is also found in African and Middle Eastern cultures and the Victorian era in Europe. We will use size 11/0, 8/0 and tube beads for our projects. $15 kits will be available, and students are encouraged to bring their own beads if they're already a collector like me. You will start in the round for a simple pendant and move on to traditional stacking and fringe methods for earrings. No experience necessary. Bring lunch and learn a new craft! Suggestions for other materials will be sent to those enrolled before class.
