There are no scheduled sessions at this time. Sign up to be notified when this course is available.

Loop-in-loop chains have a simplicity and elegance that has endured since their creation thousands of years ago. They're the basis for many beautiful jewelry designs, then and now. In this workshop, students will learn the basic loop-in-loop chain and then add in ancient and modern variations to get six different chains. Students will learn how to fuse fine silver links; endcaps and findings for these chains will be demonstrated during class. Students should be able to finish several sample- to bracelet-length chains. Pack a lunch as these days are full! PREREQUISITE: Three (3) Beginning and/or Beyond the Basics Jewelry and Metalsmithing classes at the Spruill Center for the Arts, or by permission of the instructor. Supply List available at www.spruillarts.org.
