Create an everlasting work of art. This workshop provides the opportunity to paint with semi moist nontoxic under-glazes to create a watercolor-like-effect painting on your dish. First you will create a design on paper using traditional watercolors. Second you will transfer with the instructor's assistance the outline of your design to a bisque dish. Third, the instructor will guide you through the process of painting the dish using semi moist non-toxic watercolor underglazes. The painted dishes will be glazed and fired in a ceramic kiln and ready to pick up in a few days. The final dish will be food safe and dishwasher safe. All materials included. The workshop is geared to those willing to try new approaches in a relaxed environment with plenty of one-on-one instruction.
