Discover the art of woodturning. During this 4-week course instructor David Liss will cover every aspect of woodturning including safety, dos and don'ts, understanding how to use a lathe, how to properly hold the tools, sharpening the tools, basic hollowing, basic spindle work, and the making of a wood pen. SAFETY REQUIREMENTS Students should not wear open shirts, long sleeve shirts, gloves or shorts. Closed toed shoes are required. Long hair must be pulled back. N95 masks to be worn during turning.
