Did you spend countless hours as child playing with spinning tops? Now you can make your own unique spinning top and bring back that childhood nostalgia. During this 4-week course, you will learn every aspect of woodturning including safety, dos and don'ts, understanding how to use a lathe, and how to properly hold the tools, as well as sharpening the tools. By the end of the session you will have your very own spinning top to keep for yourself or gift to a friend. SAFETY REQUIREMENTS No open shirts, long sleeve shirts, gloves or shorts Closed toed shoes are required Long hair must be pulled back N95 masks to be worn during turning and sanding Full face shields to be worn when operating machinery
