TEEN PORTRAIT & FIGURE DRAWING - AGES 14-19

For these 6 weeks, we will assist the development of Teen Artist's creative imaginations by providing a focus on the people around us. We will study the many different styles of creating portraits and practice w/drawing heads, faces, hands & figures. We'll work not only from instructor provided photos but also students' own photos brought in for inspiration. We will also work from live subjects, professional clothed models posing for you just like they do in master artists' studios. We will work with assorted materials, many which are noted on the class Supply List . An excellent choice for AP Students, Studio & Portfolio Preparation students who're developing their work, and focusing their investigative skills to expand on the experimental elements of their portfolios. Some previous drawing experience prior to taking this class is highly recommended. Group critiques are incorporated into each class.
