CREATIVE CLAY AGES 6-10

Join us for this dynamic combination of creativity and skill-building. Students will explore the possibilities of hand-building basics. We will explore clay through various exciting projects including animals, pinch-pots, tiles, coil sculptures and more. Both directed projects and experimentation will be supported and encouraged as each student's skill level evolves.

Dara's Classes

Dara Andre teaches Creative Clay for ages 6-10 and Tween Wheel 10-13. She likes to introduce the fundamental concepts that will facilitate her students' own self-discovery.

Dara loves Alice Neel Yayoi Kusama and Claude Monet. She also has a cat named Vincent Van Gato. Her motivation to teach lies in a desire to find a way to do art almost every day of her life. Finally, her favorite food is and has been okra since age 5.
